Student Athletes Compete!
The Iowa State High School Clay Target League brings its state tournament back to Stockdale on Saturday, June 5, 2027. In 2026 it drew 172 registered student athletes and around 473 people through the gate. That day ran team check-in at 9:00 AM, opening ceremony at 9:45, competition on the line at 10:00, and awards by 4:00 in the afternoon. The League confirms the 2027 schedule on its site. Parking is limited and the road to the range is single lane, so plan to roll in at least 45 minutes before the opening ceremony.

Coaches required at check-in. Get there at least 45 minutes early. Parking is limited and the road into the range is single lane, so leave room for the line of cars.

National anthem, welcome, athlete recognition. Squads ready behind the line.

Competition on the line
100-target individual scores. Top five athlete scores per team count toward team competition, regardless of classification.

Award ceremony
Individual and team awards. Earned patches for 25, 50, 75, and 100 straight handed out at the ceremony.
