A few bullet points about the club and the shoot Saturday:
We will have a doubles trap and a couple singles traps open for practice near the sign up building.
Practice tickets will need to be purchased from inside the sign up building for the singles and the doubles trap ranges.
Only 12 gauge ammunition will be available for sale inside the main club house (brick) at the kitchen counter.
Contestants are welcome to use the patterning board if they require it, shoot on the practice traps for practice, and shoot the event on the event traps, other than that all other shooting will be considered unauthorized.
Club house will have breakfast available as well as lunch, so the kitchen should be ready by 8:15 am.
The event will be shot using a bank system, 50 targets, two sub events per trap. The banks will be labeled A, B & C.
There will be three banks utilizing six traps. Up to 30 contestants will be able to shoot simultaneously as the event moves along.
The event will consist of two events of 100 targets each totaling 200 targets to be eligible for awards.
Blank score sheets will be provided on the beginning traps clip boards.
Contestants will need to fill out their first and last name on their requested post.
Squad numbers will be on display on the back side of the score chairs or the beginning traps.
The lead off member of the squad will carry the half completed score sheet from the beginning trap to the ending trap for their final scores.
The completed sheets will then be collected by club staff to be taken into the sign up building for tabulation.
The event will be considered and ran as an ATA registered shoot. All ATA rules will be enforced.
Contestants must declare and pay for their daily ATA and ISTA fees in advance and must be an current ATA and ISTA member to have their scores registered.
Contestants are welcome to join the ATA and ISTA at the club and pay their 2015 membership dues.
ATA members are encouraged to bring their ATA card.
Voice release systems will be used on all traps and all traphouses are equipped with automated machines.
No guns or gun cases are allowed inside the main clubhouse.
Most importantly, the shoot will be held with safety and fun as the main goals.
