Competition Format

Participants may register for up to three events: 16 Yard, Handicap, and Doubles
Competition will consist of 50 targets in each event registered. 

Teams will shoot as a team.  Team awards are based upon the combined 16 yard.  A team consists of 5 shooters. Shooters may enter at a higher grade level (i.e. 5th graders can shoot with 8th graders, etc.)

Equipment: shotgun, maximum 12 ga., 3 dram, 7 1/2 shot, 1 1/8 oz. target loads.
 

Awards

Medals will be presented to the top three athletes in each division at each site. Overall awards will be mailed to the top three athletes in each division among all participants from all sites.

RULES

All ATA rules will be enforced. Minimum handicap yardage will be 19 yards. ATA contestants will be handicapped to the 19 yard line or ATA yardage, whichever is greater.

Tie Breakers will be handled in a format set by the host site. Each site may determine tie breakers differently. 

Hearing and eye protection are required. All shooters are responsible for their own equipment.

Adult ATA registered shooters will be classified to shoot among ATA registered shooters and separate medals will be awarded.

Due to the nature of this competition, the listed range officers' decision regarding any question concerning rules will be final.

Age Determining Date

September 1, 2014. Grade divisions are based on the 2014-2015 school year.
